Installation

Q: After installed the software, I still cannot reset password successfully, why?
A: Firstly, make sure you installed the full version of the software but not the trail version. Only the full version can fulfill its function to reset password, or else the password reset process will be failed.

The trial version will list all the user names of Windows only, but cannot remove or reset their passwords. So that you have to uninstall the trial version and then install the full version instead.

CD/DVD Issues

Q: I cannot find my CD/DVD, what can I do?
A: Firstly, check whether your CD/DVD burner is connected to your PC properly, and then make sure your CD/DVD burner is working fine.
Q: I failed to burn a CD/DVD reset disk, what should I do?
A: 1. Above all, you’d better pick a high-quality CD/DVD,such as TDK, Sony, BenQ, Panasonic, etc.
If the CD/DVD is fine, there could be something wrong with burner software. Maybe you can use other burning software instead, such as Nero, Sonic, Roxio, etc. We recommend you BurnCDCC, which is pretty easy-to-use.
How to use BurnCDCC to burn a CD/DVD reset disk:

1. Run BurnCDCC and find out the ISO image file of our software according to the following storage address. (Note: suppose our software is install on C drive, you can install it on other drives, whatever)
2. Then start burning and a CD/DVD reset disk will be created.

Below are the ISO image files storage address of different software versions:   
Standard: C:\Program Files\Windows Login Recovery Standard\usbdos\WindowsLoginRecovery.iso
Professional: C:\Program Files\Windows Login Recovery Professional\usbdos\WindowsLoginRecovery.iso
Enterprise: C:\Program Files\Windows Login Recovery Enterprise\usbdos\WindowsLoginRecovery.iso
Ultimate: C:\Program Files\Windows Login Recovery Ultimate\usbdos\WindowsLoginRecovery.iso

2. If still fail to burn the CD/DVD reset disk, please try another computer or CD-ROM instead to burn the password reset disk.

Q: How to make sure whether the disk has burn successfully or not?
A: By taking a view of the capacity of your CD/DVD, the program occupies about 30MB, you can make sure whether it is successfully burned or not.
Q: I failed to find my USB drive, what can I do?
A: Above all, please make sure your USB drive is well connected to the computer and works fine, then check whether the USB port works fine.
Q: There are plenty kinds of USB drive, which kind of USB drive should I choose for?
A: The USB should have enough capacity for burning a password reset disk, about 30MB. Of course, It is better the USB is high-quality.
Q: I came across the sentences "Please backup the data on the USB Flash Drive firstly. Get ready for the burning?" What does that mean?
A:

Well, if your USB drive is not a blank one but comes with data or files, you had better back up the data or files before start burning the ISO image. Because after burning the ISO image file onto the USB drive, the data and files on the USB drive will be overwritten. So we informed every user to make sure their USB drive is blank or backup the data or files before start burning the ISO image.

Q: I failed to burn a USB reset disk, what should I do?
A: 1. Please take use of high-quality USB drives, such as Kingston, PNY, ADATA, SanDisk, etc.
2. If you still failed to burn the USB drive disk, it could be the wrong of your PC, please use another PC instead to start the burning process.
3. Copy the program to USB drive directly won’t make your password reset. You should install the program on an accessible computer first and run it to burn a USB reset disk. You can consult How to create password reset USB drive.
