Step 1. Download and install the program, run it to create a password reset CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive
Windows Login Recovery comes with 4 different Editions for your choice. You can compare editions here >>
1. Select Reset Domain Administrator password for Windows Server 2008/2003/2000, and click Next.
2. Please prepare one blank CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive in advance and insert it into computer to create a password reset disk. Select CD/DVD or USB, click Burn to start burning.
3. The password reset disk is successfully burned now, click Quit. Take out the password reset disk and then
put it into your locked computer to reset the Domain Administrator password.
Step 2. Reset Administrator password with the burned CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive
Option1: Reset Windows Local password
Insert the burned CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive into your locked computer, if the computer cannot boot from it, please set BIOS to boot from CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive.
1. On the start page, select the Windows system to reset password for, then Select one of the options to reset Windows Local password, click Next to continue.
2. Click Reboot to confirm and continue the operation, take out the burned CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive. Click Yes to restart computer and you can log into Windows again without passwords.
Option 2: Reset Domain Administrator password
Insert the burned CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive into your locked computer, if the computer cannot boot from it, please set BIOS to boot from CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive.
1. Select the Windows system to reset password for firstly, then Select one of the options to reset password for, click Next.
Choose Reset the default Domain Administrator password if the default Domain Administrator account is 'Administrator'.
Choose Create a new Domain account with administrator privilege if the default Domain Administrator account is not 'Administrator'.
2. Now the Domain Administrator password is reset successfully. Take out the CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive, click Reboot to confirm the operation, by click Yes and you can log on your system with user name 'Administrator' and password 'Admin123'.
